Jared R. Rice

    Jared Rice, a life long Westchester County resident, graduated New Rochelle High School in 1997. During his stint at New Rochelle High School, Jared played varsity basketball and achieved All-County honors after a stellar career. Jared then received a Division 1 basketball scholarship to play at Delaware State University. There, Jared competed for three seasons until he was sidelined with various injuries. Jared graduated from Delaware State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

    Immediately following college, Jared received an academic scholarship to attend North Carolina Central School of Law where he recently graduated in May 2004. He was subsequently admitted to the New York State Bar Association in April 2005. He is currently a public defender in various Westchester County courts and is also employed with Rice & Rice Attorneys at Law, which is a general practice law firm located in New Rochelle, NY. He works with his parents, J. Roger Rice and Gail B. Rice, who is also a part time judge in New Rochelle, NY. Jared's brother Jordan Rice is a third year student at North Carolina Central School of Law and will be joining the law firm after he graduates in May, 2006.
